To find work you enjoy, be in the Flow

I had a conversation last night with @blakesamic last night about finding work that not only uses your skills but is challenging and enjoyable. He shared this images with me explaining that the diagonal channel from bottom left to top right is your flow. In other words, it’s where work falls that uses the perfect combination of your existing skills and challenges you to gain more skills.

If you branch outside of your flow you’ll likely run into two different situations. Either, you’ll be in over your head and overwhelmed with your work load, or you’ll become stagnant by not learning anything new and only using your existing skill set.

Stay in the FLOW and love your work.
