Every time I go back to San Diego I look around at the beach front properties and the massive 7 series BMWs driving through La Jolla and in combination I see folks just chillin. Rockin’ sandals, not givin a damn, and walkin their dogs mid morning on a Wednesday; its  inspiring. Not the material wins, but the comfort that can come from busting your ass, and someday making some money. That inspires me to get back to work. To bust my ass working long days and late into the night. It inspires me to hustle. When I read about how Jay Z roles, it has a similar affect. Although I’ve definitely never met him, I’ve watched biographies, I’ve read his book, and I obviously listened to all his music and he ‘seems’ similar to the behavior down in SD. Chill on the outside but he’s really always grindin. He’s always got his “I’m doing business” cap on. It’s a deadly combo.
